Managing employees through furlough and considerations for returning them to work
In this interactive session, David Rushmere, Employment Partner from Machins Solicitors, will provide information and guidance on the Government Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (also known as furlough).
He will cover an overview to the scheme including what it means for employers and employees together with guidance on the main tricky furlough questions of the day such as how to manage holiday for furloughed employees and how to assess the amount of furlough pay.
He will then also cover the all-important subject of what to consider when bringing an employee’s period of furlough to an end including details of how to consider redundancies if the employee’s role is no longer required.
If you have any questions about furlough that you would like to have answered during the session, please feel free to send them in advance. Alternatively, questions will be answered during the presentation.
